After many great gigs, Baker Boys drummer/singer, Wally DeBacker, a.k.a. Gotye has a new album and a number of smash singles, including 'Somebody That I Used To Know'. Couldn't happen to a better man!! On the down side, it means we needed to find a worthy replacement. On the up side, we found one! Congratulations Wally/Gotye - happy touring!

Aussie/NZ band Crowded House has been busily laying down their new album in Dublin and LA, featuring Baker Boys Michael McC in the recordings. He reports back that its gonna be amazing - woah, these old rockers really know how to write a hit song - make sure you hunt down a copy on iTunes.

Baker Boys Band member, Ollie McGill, is known by many as the heart and soul of the renowned band Cat Empire. Come and see him rip it up on keyboards at one of the regular "Baker Boys Showcases", and see why he is regarded in the industry as one of the best performers of this generation.
Baker Boys lead trumpeter, Nic Wilkins is also back from playing in Cat Empire on their tour too - between the 2 of them, there was sure to be mischeif... ;-)

Baker Boys Band vocalist Kelly Wolfgram is currently touring Australia on a 2 week tour with legendary rock band INXS. She'll be home again soon if you'd like to come down and enjoy her incredible singing. Have a great tour Kelly!!

Michael McC from the Baker Boys Band just received the official invite from the music industry legend Mr. Miles Copeland (Manager of Sting & The Police) to take part in the annual ASCAP songwriting retreat taking place in the south of France in a few weeks time. Michael will be joining the likes of Carole King, Jeff Beck, Jon Bon Jovi, Cher, Belinda Carlisle, Zucchero, Stewart Copeland, Keith Urban and Desmond Chile. Congrats dude - what a great time you're going to have with those guys!

After finishing up the last Pete Murray tour of Australia and the USA, Andy is back in town, playing again with the Baker Boys Band, his true family! You haven't lived until you have seen Andy in action - amazing energy and soul on the drums. Come to the next showcase to see him in action!

Over the next month, we're doing showcases in every capital city (except Brisbane)! Its going to be quite a week! In case you're wondering, yes we do play country gigs outside the capital cities, but sometimes there is a travel cost involved- feel free to call us up to discuss this further.
